This initiative at the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA) involved developing a large-scale, touchscreen-based interactive experience for the “Journey to the Beyond” exhibition. The team worked to conceptualize, design, and implement an intuitive user interface.
My primary responsibility was to enhance visitor engagement through dynamic visuals, intuitive navigation, and interactive educational activities. Assumed additional leadership responsibilities to ensure project objectives were met and the team remained aligned on deliverables. This included technical troubleshooting, iterative development, and maintaining a cohesive design vision that supported the educational mission of the exhibit.
The result was an immersive digital environment that combined thoughtful interface design with reliable technological solutions, ultimately enhancing visitor interaction and setting a standard for future interactive museum installations.
Due to tight deadlines, development efforts centered on delivering two core functionalities: an interactive map feature and a database search tool. These components were prioritized to provide visitors with a clear, efficient means of exploring the exhibit’s content, while maintaining project timelines and overall design integrity.
